Changing The World One Relationship At A Time

While I was in the kitchen other day, I was reminded of something. I was in the midst of cooking dinner and did not have enough time to take out the garbage. It was so full that I had to take the bag out of the garbage can, and sit it on the side until I was ready to go to the dumpster. Not to mention, the dumpster is a long haul across the courtyard where we live!

I started thinking about a few things while I was cooking up some delicious concoction:

We all have some type of garbage in our lives. Some we don’t want other people to know about. Some that people can smell soon as they come in contact with us. Some of our bags have so much stuff in it, we can’t even tell what we ate yesterday. I pondered these questions:

How high has the garbage in your life piled up? Can you smell it? Can other people smell it? Are you too lazy to take it out? What’s stopping you? What are you doing about it? Is the walk so far that you are willing to let it destroy the fragrance of your home?

As we begin this new year, I hope you will take a look at the different areas of your life and remove any garbage that might be piling up. No one wants a funky friend.
